Topic: What Happens When Your Employer Blows You Off After You Report a Work Injury
Many of our clients tell us that they get written up for trivial things after they report a work injury. This type of action could be considered retaliatory. If your employer is retaliating against you, try not to react in a detrimental way to your case. A separate action can be brought in civil court for Retaliation. Also, do not give your employer an excuse to fire you. If you are late or get into arguments with the people retaliating against you, it will give your employer the ammunition they need to fire you. Be alert, Be aware and Be smart.
