When Should An Injured Worker Go Back To Work

The general rule with returning to work is make sure that the job you go back to will not cause further damage to your injured body part. It is always better to work with restrictions that are set forth by your treating doctor. If the job you are offered violates the restrictions set forth by your treating doctor, then you have a basis to not return to the job.

Why Do Employers Treat Insjured Workers so Poorly After a Work Injury?

If you have ever been injured at work then you know what I am talking about. A majority of employers feel that an injured worker is nothing more than a liability. The old excuse is, " Insurance premiums will go up and it will take more employees away from their jobs to cover the injured worker. " This narrow minded thought process is despicable and inexcusable.
